Curb link chain length chart: where 16" to 30" sits on a man
With a curb link chain, the length changes the look as much as the width. The same chain reads as discreet at the collarbone and bold low on the chest. This page is a length guide for our curb and Cuban curb chains, from 16" to 30". For widths and the difference between curb and Cuban, see the main curb chain necklaces collection.
All chains here are stainless steel or titanium steel, bare silver-tone or plated in gold-tone or black.

A larger neck or a broader chest makes every length sit higher, so add about 2 inches if you usually wear a large shirt collar.
Which of our curb chains comes in which length
- Heavy Curb Chain Necklace: 16" to 30", 6 to 16 mm, silver-tone or gold-tone stainless steel.
- Silver Cuban Link Chain: 18" to 30", polished silver-tone steel. The 6 mm comes in 24" or 30" only.
- Gold-Tone Cuban Link Chain: 18" to 30".
- Cuban Link Chain Necklace: 18" to 24", in 4, 6 or 8 mm.
- Bold Cuban Link Chain in Titanium Steel: 20", 22" or 24".
- The two cubic zirconia Cuban chains: 18" to 26".
How to check your length at home
Take a piece of string, place it around your neck where you want the chain to sit, and measure it flat. Or measure a chain you already own end to end, clasp included.
Width and length go together
Wide chains sit flatter and stiffer, so they look shorter on the body. From 10 mm, most men prefer 22" or more.
Care
Steel can go in the shower and the sea. Rinse with clean water after the sea or the pool. Perfume and chlorine wear plating over time.
