About Marco Maveri
Marco Maveri sells men's chains and chain bracelets in stainless steel and titanium steel, in classic Italian link styles such as Cuban, Figaro, rope, box, wheat and Byzantine, from $59 to $239. Every piece is listed with its material, its finish, its width in millimetres and its length in inches and centimetres. No invented heritage: our chains are not made in Italy and are not silver or gold, and we say it on page one.
What Marco Maveri stands for
Classic chains in stainless steel, measured to the millimetre, sold at the price of steel. Marco Maveri exists for the man who wants one fine chain he never takes off: under a linen shirt with two buttons open, in the shower, at the sea, through a long summer. The Italians have a word for that kind of ease, sprezzatura: doing something well and making it look like nothing.
No invented heritage. We do not have a villa on the lake. There is no goldsmith grandfather, no workshop in Milan, no family secret. Our chains are made in stainless steel by a manufacturing partner. We will not show you a review count we do not have. We would rather say it on page one than have you find out on day thirty.
Three rules.
- One chain is enough. Two, if you insist. Never a stack.
- Steel, said plainly. Material, finish and size on every page. Silver-tone pieces are bare steel; gold-tone and black pieces have a plated layer over the steel.
- The right width, the first time. Millimetres, centimetres and honest size guides.

Is Marco Maveri legit?
Yes. Payment goes through Shopify's secure checkout, every order ships with tracking, and you get 30-day returns and a 1-year warranty on clasps and links. We answer every email ourselves at contact@marcomaveri.com, within 24 hours, Monday to Friday.
Is Marco Maveri an Italian brand?
No. The link styles are classic Italian ones, such as the grumetta (Cuban curb), Figaro and Byzantine, but our chains are made in stainless steel by a manufacturing partner, not in Italy. We say it on our story page rather than invent a heritage.
How much does a Marco Maveri chain cost?
Chains and pendant necklaces cost $69 to $239, bracelets $59 to $99, and a chain and bracelet set $129. The Cuban link chain, for example, costs $69 to $89 depending on the width. Take 3 or more pieces and 15% comes off.
Are Marco Maveri chains gold or silver?
No, and we would never let you think so. Silver-tone pieces are bare steel. Gold-tone and black pieces are steel with a plated layer.
Will a Marco Maveri chain turn my neck green?
No. Stainless steel does not rust and does not react with skin the way brass or copper can. You can wear it in the shower, at the gym and at the sea. Avoid prolonged contact with perfume, bleach and chlorine.
Is a stainless steel chain better than a silver chain?
For daily wear, steel asks less of you: it does not darken in water, and it costs less. Silver is a precious metal and is priced as one. Pick silver if you want a precious metal; pick steel if you want a chain you never take off.
4 mm or 6 mm: what chain width should I choose?
A 4 mm chain is present under an open collar and quiet with a shirt. A 6 mm chain reads clearly over a T-shirt. An 8 mm chain is meant to be worn on its own. If you hesitate, 4 mm is our pick for a first chain.
What chain length should I choose?
45 cm (18") sits just below the collarbone; 50 cm (20") on the upper chest. On a slim or average build, 45 to 50 cm is the sweet spot; on a broader build, choose 50 to 60 cm. If you plan to add a pendant, go one length up. Our size guide shows where each length sits.
How is my order delivered, and will I pay duties?
Orders are processed within 48 hours and shipped with tracking. Inside the EU, VAT is collected at checkout and there is nothing to pay on arrival. Outside the EU, duties may apply and are paid by the buyer.
What if the length is wrong?
Send it back unworn within 30 days and order the right one. Email contact@marcomaveri.com with your order number first. Return postage is paid by the buyer.
What does the warranty cover?
For 1 year from purchase: clasps that fail under normal use, links that break under normal wear, pendants or bails that give way, and structural defects in the metal or finish. Send 3 to 4 photos and we ship a replacement within 48 hours of approval, with no need to return the original.
Does it come in a gift box?
