Men's bangle bracelets: rigid steel, sized by the opening
A bangle is a rigid bracelet. Unlike a chain bracelet, it keeps its shape on the wrist, so it looks clean and structured, and it never tangles with a watch strap. For men, there are two main forms: the closed bangle, which you slip on or close with a clasp, and the open cuff, which has a gap you slide your wrist through. This collection has both, all in steel.
Because a bangle does not bend like a chain, the size matters more than with any other bracelet. The key number is the inside size, not the length.
Our three bangles and how they fit
| Bracelet | Type | Size | Colors |
|---|---|---|---|
| Twisted Steel Hook Bangle | Closed bangle, hook clasp | 55 mm (2.2") inner diameter | Silver-tone, gold-tone |
| Cable Cuff Bracelet | Open cuff, 3 mm wide | 74 mm (2.9") inner diameter, gently adjustable | Silver-tone, or two-tone black/gold-tone, black/silver-tone, silver/gold-tone |
| Cross Motif Cuff Bracelet | Open cuff, 4 mm band | 14 cm (5.5") around, gently adjustable | Black, gold-tone |
How to choose your size
Closed bangle
The Twisted Steel Hook Bangle closes with a polished U-shaped hook, which is also its main detail. Its 55 mm inner diameter suits a slim wrist, so measure yours before ordering: lay a ruler across the widest part of your wrist and compare with 55 mm. If your wrist is wider, choose a cuff instead.
Open cuff
A cuff is slid on sideways through its opening, at the narrow part of the wrist, then turned. You can squeeze or open it gently, once, to adjust it. Do not bend it back and forth. The Cable Cuff Bracelet fits most wrists. The Cross Motif Cuff Bracelet is best on a slim to average wrist.
How to wear a bangle
- Alone: a bangle is a clean, single accent with a t-shirt or a rolled sleeve.
- With a watch: wear it on the other wrist, or above the watch, so the two do not knock together.
- With a chain bracelet: a rigid cuff next to a flexible link bracelet is an easy pairing. See our men's chain bracelets, or all our cuff bracelets.
Materials and care
These bangles are made of stainless steel or titanium steel, a stainless steel alloy. Silver-tone is the bare steel; gold-tone and black are platings. You can keep them on in the shower, at the gym, at the sea or in the pool. Rinse in clean water after the sea or the pool. Perfume, chlorine and friction wear the plating over time. Each bracelet has a 1-year warranty against defects and 30-day returns, with free shipping over $60.
Men's bangle FAQ
What is the difference between a bangle and a cuff?
A bangle is a closed circle, sometimes with a clasp. A cuff is open on one side and slides on through that gap.
How do I know my bangle size?
For a closed bangle, compare the inner diameter with the width of your wrist. For a cuff, measure around your wrist and check that it is close to the cuff's size.
Can I adjust a cuff bracelet?
Yes, gently and once. Repeated bending can weaken the metal.
Are these bangles made of silver or gold?
No. They are steel, bare or with a gold-tone or black plating.
