Men's gold snake chains: the flat gold-tone line
A flat snake chain is made of small plates joined so tightly that the surface looks continuous. It lies flat against the skin and, in a gold-tone finish, reads like a thin band of light rather than a row of links. It is the most minimal chain we sell, and the one that looks most at home with a linen shirt in summer. Width and length of the flat gold snake chain
The Flat Snake Chain Necklace comes in four widths and four lengths, in gold-tone or bare steel.

Lengths: 16" (41 cm) sits at the base of the neck, 18" (46 cm) close to it, 20" (51 cm) at the collarbone and 24" (61 cm) on the chest. A flat chain looks best when it lies flat, so a length that rests on the collarbone or the chest usually beats a very tight fit.
How to wear a flat gold snake chain
On its own
This is a chain that does not need a pendant. A 3 or 4 mm at 20" with a white t-shirt or an open shirt is the simplest way to wear gold-tone.
As a matching pair

Caring for a flat snake chain
A flat snake keeps its smooth surface if you treat it gently. Do not fold it sharply or knot it, and store it flat or hung rather than balled up in a pocket. You can keep it on in the shower, at the sea or in the pool; rinse it in clean water after salt water or chlorine and dry it with a soft cloth. Perfume and friction wear gold-tone plating over time, so put perfume on first. Every chain has a 1-year warranty against defects and 30-day returns.
