Men's bracelets: how to find your size before you choose a style
The most common reason a man's bracelet ends up in a drawer is not the style, it is the fit: too tight and it pinches, too loose and it slides over the hand. This collection holds all our men's bracelets, in stainless steel and titanium steel. Before you browse them by look, take two minutes to find your size. To choose by link style and width, see our guide to men's chain bracelets.
Step 1: measure your wrist
- Wrap a soft tape measure, or a strip of paper, around your wrist just above the wrist bone.
- Keep it snug, not tight. Mark where it overlaps and measure the strip flat.
- That number is your wrist size. Most men measure between 6.5" and 8" (16.5 to 20 cm).
Step 2: add room for the link
A bracelet should be a little longer than your wrist. How much depends on the width of the links, because wide links take up space inside the circle.
- Fine links (3 to 5 mm): add about 0.5" (1.5 cm).
- Medium links (6 to 9 mm): add about 0.75" (2 cm).
- Wide links (10 mm and more): add 0.75" to 1" (2 to 2.5 cm).
Prefer a looser drape? Add a little more. Wear it next to a watch? Stay on the snug side so the two do not knock together.
Step 3: check the lengths each bracelet comes in
| Bracelet | Lengths offered |
|---|---|
| Bicycle Chain Link Bracelet | 11 lengths, from 6.25" to 10" |
| Titanium Steel Keel Link Bracelet | 7.5", 8.25", 8.75", 9", 9.5", 9.75" |
| Tennis Bracelet with Cubic Zirconia | 6.75", 7", 7.5", 7.75", 8", 9" |
| Cuban Link Chain Bracelet with Box Clasp | 7", 7.5", 8", 8.5", 9" |
| Polished Cuban Link Bracelet (10 mm) | 7", 7.5", 8", 8.5" |
| Cuban Link Bracelet with Pave Clasp | 7", 7.75", 8.75" |
| Rope Chain Bracelet | 7", 8" |
| Paperclip Link Bracelet | Adjustable, 16.5 to 20 cm (6.5" to 7.9") |
| Wheat Link Bracelet with Magnetic Clasp | 20.5 cm (8.1") |
| Byzantine Link Chain Bracelet | 8.75", a roomy size |
If you are between sizes
Look for a bracelet with many lengths or an adjustable fit. The Bicycle Chain Link Bracelet covers the widest range of wrists. The Paperclip Link Bracelet has a 3.5 cm extender chain. The Geometric Link Bracelet in Titanium Steel comes with a link adjustment tool, so you can remove links for a custom fit. Rigid cuffs and bangles fit differently, by their opening: see our men's bangle bracelets.
Materials and care
Silver-tone is bare polished steel; gold-tone and black are platings. You can keep these bracelets on in the shower, at the gym, at the sea or in the pool. Rinse them in clean water after the sea or the pool. Perfume, chlorine and friction wear plating over time. Every bracelet has a 1-year warranty against defects and 30-day returns, and shipping is free over $60.
