Franco chain width: 6 mm, 9 mm or 13 mm?

Our Franco Link Chain Necklace is made of 316L stainless steel, in silver-tone polished steel, gold-tone plating or black plating. It comes in three widths and four lengths.

Because the Franco is a square chain, it looks a little heavier than a flat chain of the same width. A 6 mm Franco has more presence than a flat 6 mm chain, which is why 6 mm is enough for most men.
Matching width to your build
- Slim neck or frame: 6 mm keeps the proportion right. 9 mm can work if you want the chain to be the point of the outfit.
- Average build: 6 mm for daily wear, 9 mm for a stronger look.
- Broad neck and shoulders: 9 or 13 mm. A wide chain on a wide frame looks balanced rather than oversized.
Width and length go together

Is a 13 mm Franco chain heavy?
It is a substantial chain and you will feel it on your neck. That weight is part of the look. If you want something you forget you are wearing, take 6 mm.
Can I return it if the width looks too big?
Yes. You have 30 days to return it, and every chain carries a 1-year warranty against defects.
Is every width available in gold-tone?
Yes. In gold-tone, all three widths come in 22", 26", 28" and 30".
