Gold-tone Franco or gold-tone Cuban: how to choose between them

Most men looking at a gold Franco chain are also looking at a gold Cuban. Both come from the curb family, both are made to be seen, and both exist in gold-tone in our range. What you see on the chest

A Cuban lies flat and wide, so it reads as a band of gold tone, with the light running along one surface. A Franco has four even faces, so it looks rounder and the same whichever way it turns. At the same width, a Cuban looks broader from the front, while a Franco looks deeper and more solid, and it moves like a flexible bar.

Which one for you

• You want a chain that sits high, at 18" or 20": the Cuban. The Franco starts at 22" (56 cm).
• You want a flat, shiny band over a T-shirt: the Cuban Link Chain Necklace in 6 or 8 mm, or the Gold-Tone Cuban Link Chain from 10 mm up.
• You want a chain that keeps its shape and does not flip: the Franco, in 6 mm for every day, or 9 and 13 mm worn alone.

Care

You can shower and swim in the sea or the pool with either chain. Rinse it in fresh water after salt water or chlorine, then dry it. Perfume and chlorine wear the gold-tone plating over time.
