Our silver chains are silver in color, not in metal. They are made of stainless steel, 316L stainless steel on the Franco chain, or titanium steel (a stainless steel alloy, not pure titanium). In silver-tone, most of them are bare polished steel with no plating, so there is no layer to wear off. Steel does not rust and does not turn the skin green, which is why it suits daily wear.

On the few chains that also come in gold-tone or black, those platings are the more delicate part: perfume and chlorine wear them over time. Silver-tone bare steel does not have that problem.

Simple links that are easy to rinse
