A silver cross chain you never take off
Many men buy a cross chain to wear it every day, often without ever taking it off. This page is about that: living with a silver-tone cross chain, day and night, at work and in the water.
Every piece here is silver-tone stainless steel or titanium steel. Silver is the color, not the metal. That is exactly why they suit constant wear: steel does not ask for the care that softer metals need.
Under the shirt or over it
A cross worn under a shirt should be flat and light. Take a smooth cross on a box chain, such as the cylindrical cross or the minimalist cross in 30 mm. A cross worn over a T-shirt can be bigger and more worked: the textured cross on its wheat chain, or the Lord's Prayer cross on its 60 cm box chain.
Day to day: what steel handles

Bare silver-tone steel has no plating to lose. If you choose a black or two-tone cross, chlorine and perfume wear that plating with time.
Layering a cross with a plain chain

Steel chains are made for daily wear, and each piece has a 1-year warranty against defects.
Can I swim in the sea with it?
