The curb link is called grumetta in Italian. The Cuban version twists and flattens each link so the chain sits flat and catches light evenly. On the wrist, it looks decided, not loud.

No. It is polished stainless steel in a silver tone, which does not rust and does not react with skin the way brass or copper can.
