Finding your fit
2 or 3 mm: a fine line, right with a linen shirt. 4 or 5 mm: visible under a collar. 20" (51 cm) rests at the collarbone. A flat chain can kink if folded hard: hang it or lay it flat when it's off.
Why this link
There are no visible links, only a surface. It catches the light in one long reflection, the way a calm sea does at the end of the afternoon. It's the most minimal chain we sell, and the most summer.
Living with steel
- Silver tone. This is bare steel. There is no plating to wear off. Shower, sea, gym: it can stay on. A soft cloth brings the shine back.
- Gold tone and black. A plated layer sits on the steel. Water is fine. Chlorine, perfume and constant friction wear it faster. Take it off for the pool, put your cologne on first, and it will last longer.
- What our warranty covers. Clasps that fail and links that break under normal wear, for one year. Normal surface wear isn't a defect, and we'd rather tell you now.
Shipping and returns
- Ships within 1 to 3 business days, with tracking. US delivery: 5 to 11 business days after dispatch.
- Free tracked shipping over $75. Below that, the shipping cost is shown at checkout before you pay.
- 30 days to return it, unworn and in its original packaging. Return postage is on you, unless the piece arrived faulty or wrong.
- 1-year warranty on clasps and links. Send us 3 or 4 photos and your order number. If it's a defect, we send a new one. No need to post the old one back.
Questions
Will it turn my skin green?
No. Stainless steel doesn't rust and doesn't react with skin the way brass or copper can.
Is it gold or silver?
No, and we'd never let you think so. Gold-tone pieces are steel with a gold-coloured plating. Silver-tone pieces are bare steel.
What if the length is wrong?
Send it back unworn within 30 days and order the right one. Return postage is on you.
When will it arrive?
Every order is processed within 48 hours and shipped with tracking. Estimated delivery: 6 to 8 business days from your order. Tracked shipping is free from $75 in the US, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand, £55 in the UK, CA$99 in Canada and €65 in Europe.
