Next to a watch: a few simple rules
- Keep it thinner than the watch strap. A 3 or 4 mm bracelet sits beside the case without hiding it.
- Same tone as the case. Silver-tone with a steel watch, gold-tone with a gold-colored case.
- Smooth against a busy dial, textured against a plain one. The flat snake chain bracelet is one smooth line; the wheat link chain bracelet has a braided texture.

Shower, sea and pool are fine. Rinse with clear water after salt water or chlorine and dry. Lay the flat snake bracelet flat when you take it off, since a flat chain can kink if folded hard. Perfume and chlorine wear gold-tone and black plating over time.

Around 3 to 5 mm. Under 3 mm it reads very fine; above 6 mm it starts to look bold.
Can I wear a thin bracelet with a watch?
