Men's pendant necklaces, sold ready to wear on their chain
Every pendant necklace in this collection comes with its chain. You do not need to find a chain that fits the bail, or guess a length: each pendant is already on a chain chosen for it. The only question is where you want the pendant to sit, and that depends on the chain it comes on. This page lists those chains so you can choose by length.
All pendants and chains are steel: stainless steel or titanium steel (a stainless steel alloy, not pure titanium). Silver is bare polished steel; gold-tone and black are platings over steel.
Which chain each pendant comes on
| Pendant necklace | Chain | Length |
|---|---|---|
| Archangel Medallion | Round snake chain | 40 cm + 5 cm extender (15.7 to 17.7 in) |
| Rectangular Bar Pendant | Twisted chain | 18" (45 cm) + 2" extender |
| Hollow Double Cross | Box chain | 50 cm (20 in) |
| Figaro Chain with Cross Pendant | Figaro chain | 50 cm (19.7 in) |
| Mixed Chain with Four-Point Star | Snake and curb chain | 20" to 22" (adjustable) |
| Navigational Compass | Link chain | 53 cm (about 21 in) |
| Dog Tag Cross | Rounded box chain | 55 cm (about 22 in) |
| Slim Cross | Figaro chain | 22" or 24" |
| Bar, square, lion head, Lord's Prayer cross | Box chain | 60 cm (about 24 in) |
| Byzantine Chain with Crucifix | Byzantine chain | 22" to 31" |
Short, medium or long drop
At the neck (16" to 18")
The Archangel Medallion Snake Chain Necklace and the Rectangular Bar Pendant Necklace sit near the collarbone: discreet, visible with a crewneck.
Just below the collarbone (20" to 22")
The most versatile zone: the pendant shows in an open collar and rests flat over a t-shirt. The Hollow Double Cross Pendant Necklace is a good example.
Upper chest (about 24")
The 60 cm pendants, like the Square Pendant Box Chain Necklace, hang lower and work as the main piece over a tee.
The Titanium Steel Byzantine Chain with Crucifix Pendant is the one to choose if you want to pick the exact length, from 22" to 31".
Everyday wear
Steel pendants can stay on in the shower, at the gym, at the sea or in the pool. Rinse them in clean water after the sea or the pool. Perfume and chlorine wear gold-tone and black plating over time. For the meaning of each pendant style, see our men's chain pendants guide.
